Take a journey in self-discovery with The Astrology Primer: Learn to Read Your Natal Chart, an immersive course designed for those ready to explore the cosmic blueprint of their lives. This course lays a solid foundation in astrology, offering clear, accessible insights into the zodiac, planetary influences, houses, and aspects. Through engaging lectures and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how to decode the symbols in a natal chart, interpret planetary movements, and understand how the stars mirror your inner landscape.
You’ll discover how the symbolic language of astrology can enhance self-awareness to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and intuition. The course blends time-honored astrological traditions with contemporary perspectives, making it both a practical guide for everyday living and a soulful exploration.
Course syllabus:
Week 1: Introduction to Astrology and Understanding the Zodiac
Overview of Astrology:
- What is astrology? How has it been used throughout history and in spiritual traditions?
- The relationship between astrology and theosophy
The Zodiac Signs:
- Explanation of the 12 zodiac signs, their symbols, and their spiritual significance.
- Introduction to the elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water) and modalities (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable).
- How each sign represents a set of symbols relevant to the human experience
Week 2: The Planets and Houses
The Planets:
- Introduction to the planets and their spiritual meanings (e.g., the Sun as the Soul's Purpose, the Moon as the Inner World).
- How each planet represents different aspects of life (Mercury: communication, Venus: love, Mars: energy, etc.).
- The personal planets versus the social and generational planets.
The Houses:
- What are the 12 houses, and how do they correspond to different areas of life (e.g., 1st House = Self, 7th House = Relationships, etc.)?
- The spiritual perspective on how the houses shape our experience of life, relationships, career, and growth.
- Aspects:
Week 3: Aspects and Chart Patterns
- The angles between planets (Conjunctions, Squares, Trines, Oppositions, etc.) and how they influence the flow of energy.
- We discuss how aspects show areas of harmony (trines), challenge (squares), and integration (oppositions).
Week 4: Putting it All Together
- Delineate charts together in a group
- Work with your charts
- Gain practice reading the astrological symbols of the chart.
Registrants will receive on-demand access to recording(s) that can be viewed for two weeks following the conclusion of the program. Late registrants will receive recording links to all missed sessions.
