Nurturing Higher Emotions A Guide to the Center of the SelfIn the teachings of theosophy, progress in the spiritual path is marked by the redirection of energy from the personal self to the All-encompassing Life. The same force that in early stages is used for personal gain is gradually turned toward serving the common Self present in all. This shift is facilitated by the emergence of emotions and thoughts of a subtler vibration, as well as our willingness to enable their permanence.

In their teachings, theosophists Annie Besant and I.K. Taimni, among others, shared their insights on the awakening of Buddhi through higher emotions, as well as the value of devotion in the spiritual path. They emphasize how the conscious cultivation of these higher states of being will have profound implications in our path of unfoldment and in the way we see and experience the challenges of life.

In this workshop we will:

  • Reflect on Annie Besant’s and I.K. Taimni’s teachings on devotion.
  • Investigate the thought-emotion connection through a theosophical perspective.
  • Learn how to use thought forms to nurture devotion.
  • Develop a personalized meditation practice to awaken higher emotions.
  • Identify how a devotional outlook in life can propel the spiritual path.

Registrants will receive on-demand access to recording(s) that can be viewed for two weeks following the conclusion of the program.
